six months.

where did the time go?

I started the new job last Monday and its going great. I'm working in the Bake Shop of a pretty well known (in New England anyway) chain of grocery stores. I've only worked 3 days so far, but I can already tell that this is going to be one of those jobs that I'll stay with for quite awhile. I'm really enjoying the work and gaining some experience in baking. I started learning some basic cake decorating Friday and did pretty well, although I had more frosting on me than on the cake.. but it was still a great start!

Jamie and I had a nice evening out tonight.. we went out for an early dinner, then went to Showcase Cinema's in Seekonk to see Scary Movie 3, which was hysterical. If you didn't see The Ring, Signs and 8 mile, you probably won't get it.. but its a funny as hell movie.

I have lots more to write about work and such.. as always, I write more in the other place since this blog is easy to find.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away. and then Christmas. I suppose I should do more shopping, so far I've got 3 gifts.

I start my new job in 2 hours.
